!GENERAL:Emigrated to the United States on the Ringfield with the rest of his
family and arrived at New Orleans on 16 March 1848 before moving to Quincy in
Illinois. Saw service in the American Civil War with the 2nd Cavalry Company L.
He enlisted at Quincy on 5th August 1861 and was mustered out on 16 August 1864
He was 5'7.5" tall, brown hair, hazel eyes, dark complexion.
Moved to St Louis in Missouri. A Wagonmaker.
